G.D USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of G.D Bologna, Italy, leader in tobacco making and packing machines.
Established in 1978 to support Virginia's growing tobacco industry, G.D USA's Richmond headquarters has been growing in size ever since.
Our Richmond location currently houses over 170 employees in our 130,000 square foot facility, where we continuously design, assemble and test new machines for the packaging of food and the making and packaging of tobacco products.
G.D USA also has the capacity to perform overhauls and upgrades on existing G.D machines, both on-site and at our own facility. These overhauls are a key feature of our Richmond facility.
Our Spare parts department maintains an on-hand inventory of original OEM parts and our machine shop is equipped to directly manufacture parts to provide a quick response time for domestic parts orders.
Technical training for our customers' maintenance personnel is provided in a well-equipped training center, which provides a wide range of training services, from standard maintenance procedures to courses detailing the technological innovations present in our machinery lines.
